Image Distribution CD PowerPACS interfaces with all DICOM image acquisition modalities and image archive servers. Enriched with DICOM graphic annotations, overlays and presentation states, CD PowerPACS conforms to the IHE Portable Data for Imaging (PDI) Profile. It ensures the DICOM image data in the DICOM CD is interchangeable with systems offered by other major vendors.

Flexibility in Creating CDs and DVDs
CD PowerPACS offers variable choices for users to create CDs and DVDs. Locally, users can either employ the drag-and-drop or a query-and-cut approach to create a CDs and DVDs. Remotely, CD PowerPACS offers the flexibility to create CD and DVD orders without being at the physical workstation. Any application supporting a DICOM Media Creation SCU is able to submit a CD/DVD creation order from any remote workstation utilizing a standard DICOM Media Creation service. Furthermore, CD PowerPACS also provides a web interface for the user to send a CD/DVD creation order from any remote workstation from the internet/intranet.
