Oasis-EHR is an intuitive, diagnosis-based electronic medical record system designed by Orthopedics with databases that are exclusively Orthopedic in content. Each task follows existing Orthopedic protocols to allow for ease of use, rapid and accurate data access, and agile navigation while fitting seamlessly into your current workflow.

Thirteen anatomical region-specific databases and orthopedic Subject Matter, eliminate dealing with unnecessary material during documentation. X-ray views, clinical tasks, medication lists, routed document categories, fracture reductions and op notes for routine office procedures have already been developed and can be used as guidelines to save time. Names of diagnoses in the "Diagnosis Library" have been edited to reflect common terminology to further the programs ease of use.

Acquire a default, editable, diagnosis-specific Encounter Note by simply navigating Frank Netter, MD Illustrations, to a specific anatomic location and associated diagnosis. As few as 3 clicks can access over 90% of the diagnoses used by the average orthopedist.This feature also enables discussion of the diagnosis with patients using visual illustrations.

Audit Protection System
Oasis-EHR Provides a Complete Code Compliance System built around Unicor Medical's "Alpha II" Coding Program. Our system automatically captures your codes, validates them against your diagnoses, and advises the you of the E/M coding level which has been documented.

Intuitive Patented Design
User-friendly interfaces have been engineered for simplicity. A ‘tab’ configuration of intuitive categories allows users to "toggle" between different sections of the chart, and patients, without having to close previous tabs. Screens are uncluttered and relate only to the action in use.

Eliminates Dictation
Patient’s can enter their histories directly into Oasis-EHR either on-line or on-site, in either English or Spanish. Copying, scanning and transcription is eliminated. MD-Sets, templates for common office procedures, and a Pre-op H&P template are included and can be easily modified in real time, by physicians.

E Prescriptions Plus
With Oasis-EHR, drug prescriptions can be electronically generated with DataBank'sDrug database, printed, e-mailed or faxed. Drug-drug interactions, descriptions, allergies, past and current drug history, and a ‘favorites list’ are all part of the template. Oasis-EHR can also generate prescriptions for physical therapy, diagnostic studies and laboratory studies.

Reports Generator
Referral letters can be automatically generated in narrative, summary or outline formats. Legal, Workman's Comp and insurance reports can be generated in narrative format. Cover pages have been defaulted for all report types and can be easily edited as desired.

Automated ICD-9/CT/HCPCS Code Captures
All diagnoses have icd-9 codes attached when selected. X-ray orders, with corresponding CPT codes attached, are defaulted by the number of views taken, thereby mirroring reimbursement policies. Fracture care, office procedures, casts, splints, surgeries, ER procedures, all have corresponding CPT codes attached and visible for review.

Color Text Coded Tracting of Patient Flow
The SENTRY Workflow Monitor system within Oasis-EHR tracks the exact location and status of every patient, at all times, and is color and text coded for instant verification. Staff member tasks are ordered electronically, eliminating the need to search for someone to take an x-ray, apply a cast, prepare an injection or give a DME to a patient!

DME items and injectible medications are tagged with appropriate codes as well. All codes are automatically included in the code compliance system and Electronic Superbill and forwarded to billing, at sign-off. You select the diagnosis, procedure or task and Oasis-EHR does the coding for you.

Simplified Document Management
Written reports and images can be scanned into the chart by designated staff members and routed to a chosen category. A Routed Documents tab is accessible at the top of the chart, Oasis-EHR comes with a defaulted list of commonly used categories, which can be modified, expanded or contracted, by the physician. The routing of any new document automatically sends a ‘to do’ item to the physician, which requires and documents, physician review and sign-off.

On-line/On-site Patient Histories
In English or Spanish
Patients can enter their medical histories on-line or on-site, in English or Spanish. Patients' secondary diagnoses, allergies, other medical factors are automatically captured from electronic patient data capture (PDC) and are included in the E/M coding formula. Schedule entries and changes are automatically updated from your practice management system (PMS) using the new "HL-7 Integra" interface engine.
